Hi everyone,
We want to share an important decision we’ve reached over the past few weeks. UFO BUFO will be taking a break next year, so the 2027 edition will not take place.
It wasn’t down to one specific event, nor was it an easy decision. Organizing the festival requires a tremendous amount of work, energy, and time every year. However, after this year’s edition, we felt we needed to pause, take a breath, and give ourselves space to consider the path forward.
UFO BUFO is a passion project for us, and we don’t want to run it simply out of habit or at the cost of burnout. We want the festival to preserve the very essence of why we started it and why we all love it so much.
We thank everyone who helps create the festival, fosters its growth, supports us, and returns year after year. Without you, UFO BUFO wouldn’t be what it is.
