Butcher´s Bay Crew
Arnie has been involved in music all his life. It started with flute and trumpet in elementary school, followed by 16 years in a brass band, two years as a bass player in a psy-rock hippie band and 6 years in a rap crew. After a few years in seclusion, collecting vinyls and exploring all corners of psychedelic electronics, he felt that he should share what he discovered with others, so around 2016 he started mixing chillout first and later psytrance.
You could hear him many times at events of his maternal Butcher’s Bay Crew: Sunrice Festival and SpaceLiquid. But he also appears regularly at events of Shivadeco crew, Fullon Crew and United Sound Experience and during summer festival season you could hear his set for example at Psyna festival, Fénix festival, Invitation festival, Sunsara festival or UFO BUFO festival.
Arnie’s chillout selection is dominated by energic organic tracks with a folkloric motives and powerful synthetic bass, sometimes supplemented by a stupid, eight-bit acid melody.
His psytrance selection is usually full of progressive, diverse, rather cheerful tracks from an earlier date with a melodic funky bass line, live instruments, electric guitar or orchestral samples.
