Medulla Oblongata
Ditch is the project of Damian Łapiński, a DJ and promoter from Wejherowo, Poland, whose musical journey has been shaped by a lifelong fascination with intense and uncompromising sounds. Originally rooted in extreme genres such as black and death metal, he naturally gravitated toward the darker spectrum of psychedelic trance.
His connection with psytrance began on January 10, 2004, at the legendary Hallamigracja party in the former GGOG club in Gdańsk. Soon after, releases from labels like Parvati Records, Acidance and Alkaloid defined his musical direction and established his passion for dark forest psychedelia.
In 2006, he founded the Medulla Oblongata collective, focused on deeper and heavier psychedelic sounds, which later evolved into a record label in 2012. Alongside performing and releasing music, Ditch actively supports emerging artists within the psychedelic trance community.
In recent years, he has expanded his musical exploration toward hypnotic techno, blending ambient atmospheres with raw techno textures. His sets combine dark psychedelic roots with deep, immersive techno journeys, constantly searching for new sonic dimensions.
