Fifs, the musical project of Filip Košnik, explores the realm of forest psychedelia by combining organic and mechanical elements. Originally a vocalist and composer for Slovenian death metal band Armaroth, Fifs shifted to the darker aspects of psychedelic trance, influenced by festivals like Freqs of Nature, Ozora, and Masters of Puppets. He is also the co-founder of Drops Festival, a very promising new festival taking part in Slovenia every August. Besides that, he organizes label parties of Chagga Records, together with his brother Nibiru since 2013. Gaining international attention with performances overseas, Fifs crafts music primarily in the 150-170 bpm range, imbued with strong social messages. His latest EP is out on Quintessence Records.
