Kitana Project is the solo music project of musician Iulia Grigorie, who has developed her own distinctive genre blending world music, rhythmic soundscapes and live improvisation. Centered around the didgeridoo and enriched by a diverse collection of flutes from different cultures as well as various percussion instruments, her performances create a rich and immersive sonic experience.
Using advanced breathing techniques, she produces pulsating rhythms, deep bass vibrations and melodic layers simultaneously, transforming her performances into a powerful one-woman show. Performing internationally with multiple projects, she appears at festivals, competitions and unconventional venues — from concert stages to Vienna’s underground stations, where she has also become known as a unique street performer.
