Moony is a producer, DJ and promoter who has been performing at festivals and club events across Poland and abroad since 2016, presenting his distinctive “lunar” sound. He has appeared at major dub and psytrance events, particularly on chill and downtempo stages.
His discography includes two full-length albums released on the French label Maree BASS, a mini album for Visionary Shamanics Records (UK), as well as numerous singles and remixes. His album Lunar Visions received wide acclaim and was named Album of the Year on the Strefa Dread radio show on Polish Radio Four, where Moony was also awarded “Hope of the Year 2020”.
Musically, Moony moves on the boundary between dub, psydub and chilltrance, combining deep basslines, steady kicks and meditative skank rhythms wrapped in psychedelic atmospheres full of harmony and mystery.
As a DJ, he draws inspiration from South American soundsystem culture and bass music traditions. He is also the organizer of bass-focused event series such as Dub It!, Vege Dub Night, and Bassówka, founder of the livestream project Radio Kwarantanna, and a member of the Korzenie Poznania – The Roots of Perception and Banati Crew collectives.
