Robert aka Robas, is a DJ, budding producer, organiser, promoter and stage manager from Slovakia, who carries in his heart love for psychedelic trance.
Robas is also Mo:Dem Festival ambassador for Slovakia, Czech Republic and Switzerland.
His first contact with psytrance was when he was 13 years old! Robert attended his first party when he was only 15, which turned out to be a life changing moment for him, and a source of so much inspiration.
He began his DJ career back in 2011, and since then has played in several festivals and parties in Slovakia, Czech Republic which led him to visit countries such as the Netherlands, Poland, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Swiss, Spain and more.
In 2020, after 10 passionate years of Dj’ing and 6 years of organising parties, one of Robert’s favourite artists Mad Maxx, scouted him out as being a man of values and hard work, gifted with a multitude of talents. Dj Robas was taken under Max’s wing, and since then, he has become an ambassador/DJ for his favourite label, United Beats Records.
In 2023, another miracle happened in his DJ career. Exactly at Robas‘s 30th birthday, Nicolas alias Mekkanikka, took him as his first student and started to teach him music production. At 19.7.2024 was released his debut track together with Mekkanikka called God‘s Mind.
Robas’s sets are full of positive energy and he will not let you grab a minute of rest from the energy he creates for the party, mixing a variety of styles ranging from Progressive Psy to Full on, to Psychedelic.
He has shared the stage with artists such as Atma, Boom Shankar, Cosmosis, Djantrix, Fobi, Hux Flux, Lunarave, Mad Maxx, Mekkanikka, Pantomiman, Reversed Logic, Talamasca, U-Recken, Wishi and more…
Robas is also the brain behind Dupanica, RetroSpektro, Tree of Life preparty, Celebration of Life and co-organiser of several psytrance parties such as HelloWeed, Galota Festival, Zahadum (psytrance) Stage on Basement Festival 2017 and SpaceBase in Switzerland.
