Synaptik (Josef Šobra) is a Prague-based DJ with a broad musical range rooted in techno and electronic music across genres.
In bars and cafés, he focuses on ambient, chillout and listening-oriented electronic music, often blending classical instruments with the warm atmospheres of deep house. In club settings, he moves toward more energetic forms of melodic electronic music and contemporary techno. At psytrance festivals, he presents carefully curated psychedelic chillout sets.
A strong sense of emotion is the common thread running through all of his performances. Synaptik is also the host of the radio show Late Harvest on Radio Punctum.
