Urklang is the solo project of Austrian artist Fabian Kerschbaum — a music producer, DJ, mixing & mastering engineer, and art therapist.
His music explores a wide spectrum of psychedelic styles within the psytrance world, with a focus on deep, progressive and zenonesque sound. Built on storytelling and emotional depth, his sets guide listeners through evolving atmospheres shaped by organic melodies, textured sound design, glitch elements and driving basslines.
Fabian’s musical journey began at the age of five with the guitar, later expanding into multiple instruments. Since 2001, he has been producing electronic music across genres such as drum & bass, jungle, dub and tekkno, as well as performing in reggae bands. In 2015, he shifted his focus fully toward psytrance and psydub, founding the Urklang project.
